In medieval Scandinavian nations, the Viking axe was a widely popular kind of tool and weapon. In addition to using axes in combat, the Vikings used them to construct houses, ships, wagons, and other items. Farm axes and battle axes, however, had different designs. In order to be utilized for throwing and quick attacks, battle axes were typically lightweight and quick. Because they were used to chop wood, farm axes were comparatively larger.
